Mobile phones:

  • ASF/PSI launched a toll free hotline called ‘Ligne Verte’ in the DRC in 2005 to increase the use of modern contraceptive methods among women of reproductive age and their partners in Kinshasa and mostly urban areas. PSI’s Family Planning Project (FPP) makes the hotline possible through cell phone technology. Please find more information about the ‘Ligne Verte’ here:
